Fulton County Arts & Culture has undoubtedly become the FACE of the fashion scene amid hosting the FACEs of Fashion: “A Celestial Experience” event on Sunday, September 29th at the Fulton County Government Center in Atlanta.
The FACEs of Fashion: “A Celestial Experience” evoked a slew of attractions including a reception and visual performances as well as a runway fashion show. This event served as the first of several set to highlight Fulton County’s FACE 2024 Experience, which recognized the county’s collaborative resources in fashion, art, culture, and education. The art and creativity presented by seven hyper-talented fashion designers exhibited the fact that vision and fabric tapestry speaks without words. Most impressionable looks dazzled the ambiance with a flair for fashion in a way that dispelled competitive markets. One-of-a-kind lavish looks brought to life by the illustrious @Threads_by_Tre are uniquely designed for the discerning gentleman embodying sophistication and timeless elegance. Male models glided seamlessly, up the eloquent runway while taking in the sounds of classical art-infused tunes. In a widely bold statement, @avnah unleashed an impeccable line of jaw-dropping wow factors. Couture pieces induced a host of vibrant, yet sensually soothing and eye-popping styles, not to mention colors. By no stretch of the way, it is agreeable, that all seven of the designers are ready for international runways and could easily fit any level of the fashion spectrum. This in fact, includes two student designers, who effortless exhibited the ability to measure up in excellence. This year’s extravaganza will be hosted by none other than Derek Blanks, Director and Photographer, and Toccara Jones, Supermodel and Television Personality. Several local and national designers will have the opportunity to showcase their designs, including Avnah Collection, Afreen Khundmir, Threads by Tre, Kailynn Washington, Olivia Reuter, Aakofii, and the Miguel Wilson Collection. In addition, Arts & Culture will honor individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Atlanta fashion and entertainment industry including, Angela Watts, Jim Alexander, Munson Steed, Randy Davidson, and renowned icon, CeeLo Green.
