Soul Blues sets sail as "sexy seniors" embark upon an upscale voyage to Cozumel and Progreso Mexico. An exhibition intended to allure grown folks and music lovers, founded by DJ Majik 1 Live, launches its 1st annual Soul Blues Cruise and touring concert series. The 5 Day Memorial Weekend venture departs from New Orleans on May 29, 2023 and appeals to an exquisite demographic of adults between 45 and 65. A trio of celebrity disc jockeys, DJ Majik 1 Live, DJ Mr. Melvin and DJ Bubba Yae will set the tone for a Class-A soul blues party. YouTube popularity extends their reach well beyond years of entertaining amongst clubs, events and concert venues. The Soul Blues Cruise recently announced its lineup which is expected to wow cruise-goers while opening an avenue for young artists of the genre. The cruise roster includes live performances by soul blues singers CoCo Wade, Sweet P, Denzel Dante, Mr. Fredlo and Cadillac Man.
Amid his journey and connection to soul blues, DJ Majik 1 Live celebrates four decades as a fan favorite and is recognized for his twenty-year tenure sparked by an affiliation with Budweiser. In collaboration with the brand, in 2002 he was notably the first and only African American selected to represent region four which covered territories ranging from Maryland to Miami and Mississippi to South Carolina. The Soul Blues 5 Day Memorial Weekend Cruise is sure to evoke a well-versed grown folks’ atmosphere as its host of well-known DJ’s and hand-picked artists remain equipped with a plethora of hit songs.
