In August of 2016, only days after the birth of his son, Jackie's Boy was diagnosed with a rare tumor of his jawbone. This required a team of specialized doctors to not only remove the tumor in his jaw but do so in a way that he wasn't permanently paralyzed. After 7 hours of surgery, the Doctors removed half of his jaw, including the tumor and it was replaced with a titanium plate. This allowed Los to have full mobility of his mouth and singing voice. Jackie's Boy has now found a new lease on life and wishes to touch the hearts and minds of the masses through his story of survival and the celebration of Life.
